What Photography Taught Me About Memory
The first lesson photography taught me wasn't about cameras. It was about memory.
A single photograph can carry a feeling across decades. That's why I don't shoot for trends. I shoot for generations – for the grandchildren who'll one day flip through an album and feel the joy of their grandparents' wedding day.
I started photographing with film at age 6. By 20, I was shooting weddings. In 2017, I founded Roy's Studio with one clear mission: to preserve the real emotion of a wedding – not just the way it looked, but the way it felt.
