When Nobody Is Watching
Constraint: No faces.
Medium: Photography, 1–5 images.
Your camera is your résumé. Instead of asking you to write us another CV, we want to see how you observe, interpret and tell a story.
Technical competence matters. But we're more interested in the person behind the camera: what you notice, what you leave out, how you interpret a brief, and whether your work makes someone feel something.
We're not using the challenge to reward expensive equipment. We're using it to find creative judgement.
Not a checklist. These are the signals our creative review is designed to surface.
This is a screening exercise, not the entire hiring process. Strong submissions move into a human review and real-world evaluation.
Give us the essentials. No traditional CV is required to enter the challenge.
A unique creative problem is generated for you. Your 24-hour clock begins when the brief is issued.
Interpret the brief within the constraints. Show the work and explain the choices behind it.
Selected candidates move to a creative interview, trial shoot and final decision.
We don't ask everyone to "photograph loneliness". The brief is built from multiple dimensions so that the interesting part is your interpretation.
Constraint: No faces.
Medium: Photography, 1–5 images.
Constraint: One location.
Medium: 30–60 second film.
Constraint: The missing subject can never appear.
Medium: 3–5 photographs.
The challenge is designed around eight review dimensions. Technical polish matters, but it is not the whole score.
The challenge is suitable for creative collaborators across photography and filmmaking.
For creators who can observe people, place and moments and turn them into intentional frames.
For creators who understand sequence, rhythm, sound and emotion in moving images.
For people whose strength may sit across shooting, editing, directing or visual storytelling.
We're building a Kolkata-based creative team for photography and filmmaking projects. Complete the application once; your unique brief is generated after the application is accepted.
We need enough context to contact you and understand where you are applying. The creative work comes next.
Upload the actual work. The page will show success only after your submission endpoint confirms receipt.
The challenge is for recruitment evaluation. Any other use should be separately agreed.
Your deadline begins when your unique brief is issued and should be enforced server-side.
The challenge filters. People make the hiring decision.
You do not need the most expensive camera. You need an idea, a point of view and the ability to make a creative decision.
